About the Scania L Series
The L Series arrived in December 2017 as Scania's low-entry urban cab. The floor sits low enough to step straight in from the kerb, and the City Safe Window in the passenger door is there to see cyclists and pedestrians alongside the truck. In the UK it is almost entirely a refuse, municipal and city distribution chassis, and Direct Vision Standard work has kept demand for it strong.

What to check before you order
- The low-entry cab is unique to the L Series. Doors, steps, glass and front panels do not interchange with P or G Series.
- City Safe Window doors are a different part to a plain door, so confirm which one the truck has before ordering.
- Driveline parts are shared with the rest of the range, so engines, gearboxes and axles are far easier to source than cab parts.
