About the Scania P Series

The P Series is the smallest cab in the heavy range and the most varied in use. It launched in August 2004 alongside the R and is still in production. You will find it on everything from 18 tonne rigids and multi-drop work to skip loaders and tippers, which means P Series parts demand covers a much wider spread of chassis than the long-haul cabs.

What to check before you order

  • P Series covers three different cab lengths. Doors and glass often carry across, but rear panels, bunks and interior trim do not.
  • The smaller DC07 is only found on lighter chassis and shares very little with the DC09 and DC13.
  • Bodywork on this cab is frequently repaired rather than replaced, so used panels and doors move quickly.

Cab variants

  • P day cab (CP14)
  • P short cab (CP16)
  • P sleeper (CP19)

Axle configurations

  • 4x2 rigid
  • 6x2 rigid
  • 6x4 rigid
  • 8x4 rigid
  • 4x2 tractor

Typical applications

  • Urban and multi-drop delivery
  • Skip and hook loaders
  • Tipper and grab work
  • Municipal chassis

Figures cover what this generation was offered with across its production run, so any individual truck will carry only some of them. Send us the chassis number and we will confirm the exact fitment before you order.
