About the Scania T Series

The T Series is the bonneted Scania, with the engine ahead of the cab rather than beneath it. Scania kept building it into the new PRT range from August 2004, but ended production in October 2005, which makes it the last bonneted truck a major European manufacturer sold. Survivors are mostly kept by owner-drivers and enthusiasts, and parts for the bonnet and front end are the hardest things to find.

What to check before you order

  • The bonnet, wings and front grille are specific to the T and are the scarcest parts of the truck.
  • Behind the front end, the T shares its driveline with the 4 Series and early PRT range, so engines, gearboxes and axles are much easier to find.
  • Cab interiors carry across from the equivalent 4 Series cab in many cases, since the T used the same cab shell set back behind the engine.

Cab variants

  • T day cab
  • T sleeper
  • T Topline

Axle configurations

  • 4x2 tractor
  • 6x2 tractor

Typical applications

Figures cover what this generation was offered with across its production run, so any individual truck will carry only some of them. Send us the chassis number and we will confirm the exact fitment before you order.
